12th annual Corvallis Electric Train Show

This weekend at the Corvallis Public Library, the Oregon Electric O-Gaugers Train Club held their 12 annual model train show.
Mackayla Stewart age 5, attended the show with her grandmother. Their were stations set up for young kids that provided a hands on experience with toy trains.
The trains are only part of the set up at the train show. The club put together a small replica city based on a 1950's town. The building included a fire station, train station, and pictured above a drive in diner.
The model trains have many different part and many different train cars. Pictured above is a replica oil tank.
John Dunn is the club president and runs shows all over the Willamette Valley. He is pictured above constructing one of his many trains. The trains are powered by a control panel that control direction and speed when on the tracks.

Wayne Gladwin is one of the senior members of the club. He has participated in all 12 shows at the Corvallis Library. Wayne's love of model trains started when he was a young kid and he has continued collecting them throughout his life.
